We are pleased to announce that the 83rd Infantry Division Association’s 78th Reunion will begin on
Monday August 4, 2025 at the Higgins Hotel, New Orleans, the official hotel of the National World War 2 Museum.
The WW2 Museum
The Museum tells the story of the American experience in the war that changed the world—why it was fought, how it was won, and what it means today—so that all generations will understand the price of freedom and be inspired by what they learn. Since we last visited in 2014, the Museum has completed an expansion which was still underway then. The Museum will be the focal point of our visit – a tremendous opportunity to introduce a grandchild, great nephew, great niece or great grandchild to a seminal event in American and World history.
The Higgins is immediately across from the Museum. The Reunion Planning committee is now hard at work. We are planning a very special day that will include our Memorial Service as well as a great luncheon and special entertainment. And while the Museum galleries have so much to offer, there will also be a chance to experience some of what makes New Orleans so special. And of course, there will be plenty of opportunity to catch up with old friends and meet new ones in the hospitality room. The reunion will culminate in our traditional banquet.

First, book your room with the hotel and after registration packets will be mailed (& emailed) to sign up for specific daily activities and the banquet. You can expect reunion registration packets to arrive in April.
